Newcelle nsd-1

Newcelle nsd-1 is the first of three drawings with an international flavor.  Nancy Uyemura began the drawing with a curvilinear razor sharp red line that circumvents the circle.  Sakutaro Nakagawa, a graphics designer in Tokyo, added the mostly vertical and thickly brushed ink line.  Notice how Sakutaro was able to stop his brush just short of Nancy's thin red line and begin again with fluid continuity!  I finished the drawing with the formal chromium green line that alternately contrasts angles with curves.
