The Golf Club of Oklahoma: After playing Augusta National, John Williams wondered why a course like that couldn't exist in his own area around Tulsa, Oklahoma? He hired Tom Fazio to create his dream and the result is The Golf Club of Oklahoma, a layout located over the rolling terrain of Broken Arrow. Opened in 1984, the course has matured into a solid challenge among the huge oak trees that closely line the fairways along the routing that encircles natural bodies of water. Mr. Fazio regards the course as one of his most successful. The rating is 74.8 with a Slope of 134
Keith Haney, a member of the private Golf Club of Oklahoma, has recreated the course for Links 2001. The course is available for free and may be found for download at the Links Corner.
