Royal Montreal, Blue Course: The Royal Montreal Club was the first properly constituted golf club formed in North America and is almost 130 years old. The club has had several courses over the years, but moved to its present location in 1957. Dick Wilson was hired to design two courses, The Blue and the Red, as well as an additional nine hole course on Ile Bizzard on the Lake of the Two Mountains outside of Montreal. Although the Red course is a very good championship track, it is the Blue course that has achieved fame. The Canadian Open was held there in 1975, 1980 and 1997. In 2007 the President's Cup matches were held here.
Yves Paquin and Kevin Fraser have used the APCD to make a very good recreation of Royal Montreal for Links 2001 and may downloaded for free from the Links Corner.
